The Operational Excellence Professional (f/m/d) - GT SG NM NOZ is supporting Transformers/Switchgear execution units with driving continuous improvements by analyzing processes, identifying inefficiencies, implementing strategies to enhance factory performance, output and cost-effectiveness across the organization's operations. Key responsibilities include moderation of workshops, leading process improvements projects, developing and implementing standard operation methods, managing performance data and collaborating with collaborators to achieve business objective OKR's and KPI's. The position requires a willingness to travel of around 10-15%.
How You'll Make an Impact

• Support of Operational Excellence and lean methodology in the global factory network with focus on performance improvement related to goals, achievements and benchmarks
• Facilitation of procedure exchange between factories
• Education, training and coaching of colleagues in the factories
• Analysis, identification and implementation of efficiency measures using lean methodology
• Optimization of the entire value stream to achieve a transparent, agile and efficient organization in the execution units and monitoring of operational excellence indicators for continuous improvement
• Support, coordination, advisory and independent management of special projects in collaboration with project teams, sponsors, clusters and LOEs for successful completion of Operational Excellence projects

What You Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical, industrial engineering or similar education with several years of relevant professional experience and profound knowledge in project execution, production and logistics
• Lean competence or Six Sigma certification combined with strong analytic and problem-solving skills for creative data-driven solutions
• Leadership and management skills with proven ability to lead projects, teams and multi-department workshops
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German to influence partners and drive consensus with good understanding of financial reporting and use of data for decision making
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail, task prioritization and ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment with initiative to drive improvements
• Collaborative attitude to work effectively with diverse teams and interested parties
