In this position, you will become part of our Electronics & Embedded Systems technology division and, from within the Sensor Technology department, support our Water Line Integrity Solutions business unit. The focus is on developing advanced technologies for inspecting and ensuring the integrity of water pipeline networks. In doing so, we contribute to a more efficient use of the limited resource of water and make an important contribution to sustainability and environmental protection.
As a Sensor Development Engineer at Rosenxt, you will play a key role in continuously advancing these technologies and deploying them successfully under challenging environmental conditions. Your focus will be on ultrasonic testing (UT) sensor technology and on pushing its technical limits. Working closely with mechanical designers, electronics engineers, and software developers, you will take on a central role in the development process.
You plan, implement, and analyze measurement series within the framework of basic research
You develop and build prototypes of inspection robots – from the initial idea to the tangible model
You plan, test, and analyze components and complete systems
Simulation of material systems and sensors using Civa, NDT simulation software
You work closely with an interdisciplinary and international team – together you advance high-tech solutions

You have a degree in natural or engineering sciences (e.g., physics, electrical engineering, mechatronics)
You have manual skills and technical understanding
You have experience with data acquisition and evaluation software, as well as initial programming skills in, e.g., Python, LabView, Matlab, R
You have already gained initial experience with simulation software such as Civa or Comsol
You have a good command of English, both written and spoken
