As a AOG Supply Officer (d/m/w) at Airbus, you are at the heart of ensuring operational excellence within supply chain management processes. By contributing your expertise, you will play a key role in minimizing disruption in maintenance lines and customer support, ensuring timely availability of necessary components. This position involves working full-time in a collaborative, multicultural environment, optimizing logistics, and handling supplier relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and ensuring successful order processing and execution via an ERP system.
- Analyzing delays and prioritizing urgency based on assembly line and customer needs.
- Implementing short- and long-term operational plans related to logistics, missing parts, and retrofitting delays.
- Monitoring daily supply chain performance and ensuring resolution of conflicts throughout transport, workshops, and shipping stages.
- Collaborating with suppliers in remote and onsite engagements to ensure proactive and corrective measures.
- Driving reverse logistics processes, including managing offers, return components, and downstream dismantling.
- Providing comprehensive inventory data and implementing supplier management plans to optimize utilization.
- Conducting supplier evaluations, selection processes, and risk assessments.
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders across departments for effective operations management.
To succeed in this role, you should bring a set of qualifications and skills that complement the dynamic environment of AOG supply management. You have the following profile:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics.
- Experience in Procurement with three years in buying or sourcing operations.
- Proficiency in customer service and project management for a period of three years.
- Advanced technical knowledge of SAP/R3 and familiarity with Google Workspace tools.
- Strong linguistic skills: Business fluency in German (advanced level) and English (negotiation level).
- Ability to navigate risk assessments and supplier evaluations efficiently.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with stakeholders across all organizational levels.
- Proven ability to work independently, demonstrating structured and results-oriented work ethics.
