What you will be doing:
You will be on a development pathway to prepare you to be an Improvement Project Leader in Manufacturing Engineering and can expect to be involved in the following:
Activities in this role:

• Structuring an improvement opportunity as a project, consolidating with the relevant departments (production, quality, engineering...) the technical elements and the expectable impacts on industrial performance
  
• Analyze performance data to identify new opportunities of improvement
  
• Tools and technologies you will discover:
  
• Data analytics, data visualization
  
• Overall Aircraft assembly processes - focused on the final assembly of all A320 Family standards incl. XLR
  

What you will learn:

• Discover the complete spectrum of manufacturing engineering - from co-design, up to work preparation, production planning and techn. shop floor support management
  
• Project structuration and management
  
• Work in a transnational network with stakeholders in different functions (engineering, procurement, production, quality...).
  
• Roles of the different functions enabling the aircraft production
  
• How to increase the competitiveness within a company
  
• Be part of the Single Aisle (SA) ramp up challenges to enable the highest production rates ever in Airbus environment
  

What we look for

• To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate:
  
• Educated to Engineer level or equivalent within a relevant field of study
  
• Maximum of three years relevant work experience
  
• Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English), intermadiate German language (read, written, speaking)
  
• The desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation and delivering results
  
• The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development

Salary: €56,000 - €65,000
