Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously at the point of sale.
• Scan and process purchases accurately using the cash register or POS system.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions securely and efficiently.
• Provide information about products, promotions, and store policies to customers.
• Balance the cash drawer and prepare cash deposits at the end of each shift.
• Resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store aisles.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role preferred.
