Risk & Compliance Operator (Precious Metals) (m/w/d)

We are building a next-generation precious metals service platform in Germany, combining centralized compliance, digital contracting, and mobile valuation services.

We are looking for a Risk & Compliance Operator to work at our HQ in Grünwald and help ensure that all activities meet the highest regulatory and operational standards.

This role is critical to maintaining a legally robust structure under German trade law (GewO §55–56), AML regulations, and scalable franchise operations.

• Support HQ operations (customer service, scheduling, transaction approval)
• Oversee AML (GwG) compliance, including KYC processes and transaction monitoring
• Ensure to follow compliance with German trade law (GewO), especially regarding non-Reisegewerbe structure
• Supervise and approve customer transactions (remote contracting & payments)
• Enforce operational protocols for field teams (franchise partners)
• Assist with co-operations with regulators, auditors, and compliance reviews
• perform annually risk assessment and internal regulation review and updates
• regularly report to the Group Compliance Officer and Board
• serve as contact point and report if needed to public authorities
  

• Background in AML, compliance, security, financial regulation, or riskmanagement
• Experience in one of the following:
  • - Financial services / payments / fintech
  • - Precious metals, pawn, or asset trading
  • - Regulated field operations
• Strong understanding of German compliance environment (GwG, GewO)
• Experience managing teams and operational processes
• Structured, detail-oriented, and risk-aware mindset
• Fluent in German and English

Nice to Have

• Experience with franchise or multi-unit operations
• Experience dealing with regulatory authorities (e.g. Ordnungsamt, BaFin-related environments)
• Background in audit, investigation, or security operations
