Employee (m/f/d) Global Business Line Controlling - Junior Controller
Location: Wesel near Düsseldorf

Responsibilities

Exciting opportunities await you - within a junior role, you will support the global business lines in controlling topics, act as FICO business partner for the global heads of business lines, and analyze global financial performance, e.g., the developments of selling prices, costs, margins, product portfolios or market segments. Your further tasks include:

Providing as well as calculating business cases, simulations and decision templates

• Identifying and implementing improvement measures
• Preparing regular and ad hoc R&D cost analyses, reports and presentations
• Assisting the local FICO community, especially in SAP FICO topics
• Taking part in additional projects such as SAP FICO or BW support, or the Global Finance Template

Requirements

With this profile, you convince us - if you hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field, or a qualified apprenticeship, bring first practical experience in controlling, finance or accounting, e.g., through internships, working student positions, or an apprenticeship, and have a basic understanding of financial statements and controlling principles as well as industrial structures and value chains, we warmly invite you to apply. Your other skills and competencies include:

Several years of proven familiarity with SAP FICO, especially in cost controlling and product costing

• Knowledge of SAP BW and BI as well as routine in other ERP and BI systems
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
• Expertise in project controlling or cross-functional project work
• Strong analytical and numerical qualities with attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple topics at the same time
• Communication and presentation dexterity as well as excellent intercultural awareness
• Fluency in written and verbal English as well as readiness in additional languages (e.g., German, Spanish, or French)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team environment
• Willingness to travel
