This full-time position involves working closely within the Mechanical System Integration segment, ensuring the supply chain stability for major aircraft systems and components across multiple programs and plants. - Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and program teams to develop and implement procurement strategies for major programs.
- Undertake procurement tasks such as initiating Request for Information (RFI), conducting negotiations, executing contracts, and managing amendments.
- Build strong professional networks both internally and externally to enhance operations and supplier relations.
- Maintain ethical and transparent supplier management practices in alignment with industry standards.
- Contribute to governance activities, including multi-functional team meetings, task forces, and risk reviews to safeguard operational efficiency.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Technical Buyer (d/m/w) role should bring a solid foundation of technical expertise, coupled with strategic procurement skills. Specifically, we're looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications and experience:
- A technical degree (Bachelor's) in fields like Engineering or Industrial Engineering with a technical focus.
- Over 3 years of professional experience in procurement or supplier relationship management.
- At least 1 year of experience in contract management.
- General to advanced knowledge of project management and risk assessment processes.
- Fluency in English at a negotiation level; German or additional language skills are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and improve operational outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills to connect with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
- A structured and results-oriented work approach to meet deadlines and handle projects efficiently.
