As a Supplier Quality Manager (d/f/m) in Hamburg, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring top-tier supplier quality and supply chain performance for Airbus Commercial Programs. Working in a full-time capacity, you will be responsible for managing supplier audits, development initiatives, quality assurance measures, and interfacing with key stakeholders. By leveraging your expertise, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of supplier performance in alignment with stringent aerospace standards. Collaborating closely with multifaceted teams and operational groups, you will serve as a critical liaison to secure supplier conformity, mitigate risks, and elevate overall quality expectations.
Your tasks:
- Responsible for monitoring supplier activities to ensure compliance with airworthiness requirements.
- Conduct supplier audits and manage supplier development plans.
- Coordinate improvements and address operational and performance challenges.
- Implement and oversee supplier quality approval processes aligned with Airbus standards.
- Manage supplier deviations, including handling Quality Survey Reports (QSRs) and Safety-Related Items (SARIs).
- Initiate and lead projects aimed at enhancing supplier quality performance.
- Establish medium-term development objectives for suppliers.
- Regularly report on supplier performance using KPIs and assessments.
- Collaborate with multifunctional teams and Airbus production sites for operational coordination.
- Oversee supplier work transfers (Transfer of Work - TOW), including risk management.
- Hold a degree in Engineering, Technical Studies, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- 3 years of experience in supply chain, supplier management, and quality assurance.
- 2 years of experience in procurement.
- Advanced-level proficiency in SAP and Google Workspace tools.
- Solid knowledge of project management and risk management principles.
- Thorough expertise in Total Quality Management methodologies.
- Ability to analyze and understand complex processes and systems efficiently.
- Demonstrated structured, independent, and results-driven working style.
- Strong communication skills for interaction across various organizational levels.
- Fluent in German and English with negotiation-level proficiency in both languages.
- Willingness to travel globally once per quarter.
